My insurance career started at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company back in 1978. Upon Graduating in 1980, I learned the property/casualty insurance business with American Mutual Liability Ins. Co., and then later with the Pennsylvania Manufacturers Group. After a few years outside of the industry I re-entered the business on the broker side as opposed to the company side, which provided a different perspective than being a captive agent. Starting with one company contract in 2000, the agency, known as Manfred Diller & Lloyd became known as Lloyd Inc. in 2005 and is currently working to rebrand itself as Lloyd's of Munhall. We now represent over 23 companies directly and 100's of companies through the brokerage market. With the power of choice, we are able to procure the best value coverage and value for our clients’ dollar. On the personal side, I have two grown children and five grandchildren. Both son Brad and daughter Leslie have worked in the business for many years, with Leslie continuing in the tradition at the agency. I coached ice hockey for over twelve years with the Central Pittsburgh Cyclones and at Steel Valley. With a strong belief in giving back to the community I have been a member of many local community and economic development organizations such as the Steel Valley Enterprise Zone Corp., the Mon Yough Chamber of Commerce, and more recently as President of Munhall Borough Council.

I graduated from California University in 2009. I’ve been working in insurance for over 8 years and I love it! I started at Lloyd’s of Munhall in 2013, as a Personal Lines Agent. I’ve since moved over to Commercial Lines. I was born and raised in Munhall and even bought my first home here in Munhall. I love working in my hometown. It really helps to love your job when you do not have to deal with a commute. My favorite quote is "Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game."

Hello, my name is Leslie Thomas. I grew up in just up the hill from where our office is located. I have been with the company for a number of years. I specialize in Commercial Insurance, payment reminders, cancellations, loss control recommendations, and making sure we are maintaining up to date information for all of our clients. I strive to provide the best customer service that I can to insure our clients expectations are exceeded. Some of the clients I speak with on a day to day basis are almost like family to me. They trust my advice and know that if they have an issue or question I am just a phone call away. I enjoy working here because it is a small family owned business. We are a tight knight family, and we look out for one another. We truly work well as a team which is imperative to meet our client’s needs, as well as potential client requests. My father is my hero as he is the hardest working, and most selfless person I know. He is a wonderful father and terrific grandfather. He motivates me to do well for myself and my family. I am married and have three wonderful children who I hope someday will have the drive and motivation to be the best that they can be in whatever they choose to do; maybe even continue the family business.

I graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1992 with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and a Minor in Business. I started in the Insurance industry fresh out of college at an agency in downtown Pittsburgh but didn't like the commute. I started with Lloyd's of Munhall in October of 2008. I grew up in Munhall and now live in the neighboring borough of West Mifflin, so the commute is no longer an issue! I specialize in personal lines insurance, such as auto, home, boat, RV, motorcycle and umbrella. The most important aspect of my job is to educate the consumer. I want people to understand their coverages and review their needs to make sure they know what they have and what options are available to them. I am married with 3 children (and a dog) and in my free time I enjoy reading and camping.
